Time blows minutes and seconds into the face of the pinwheel,
And the leaves turn one by one,
Red anger and blue sadness,
The yellow leaves of jealousy,
And a thousand colored leaf of madness,
Pink laughter flutters noisily,
Even as the orange flames of love fly,
The deep, dark brown of affection whirls,
Look at it again, the pinwheel does not lie,
Fast the pinwheel turns and you glimpse the black darkness beyond,
The colors all merge into one great white of calm.
And the leaves turn one by one,
Red anger and blue sadness,
The yellow leaves of jealousy,
And a thousand colored leaf of madness,
Pink laughter flutters noisily,
Even as the orange flames of love fly,
The deep, dark brown of affection whirls,
Look at it again, the pinwheel does not lie,
Fast the pinwheel turns and you glimpse the black darkness beyond,
The colors all merge into one great white of calm.
